Fees, Fie, Fo, Fum
This morning I looked at the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles site to doublecheck what documents I'd need to present in order to obtain a Virginia license plate and driver's license. It was evident that layers of process have been added in order to generate fees...city fees, county fees, state fees...many fees for each level of authority. I even have to get a "city sticker" in order to continue to park in my own driveway. The way things are going, soon I'll have to get a special tatoo on the back of my hand in order to qualify for air to breathe!
